Welcome to Long Buckby Preschool

 

At Long Buckby Preschool we provide a happy, caring and stimulating environment for your child.  In this environment your child will be encouraged and motivated to learn and develop linguistically, intellectually, physically and socially from play-based activities, whilst working towards the early learning goals.

Through interaction and play with our dedicated key workers and other children, your child will develop a wealth of early learning and social skills. We encourage children to think for themselves and develop skills which will allow for a smooth and confident transition to primary school.  And when the time comes we will be there to support your child as the move on to reception.  Long Buckby Preschool has excellent links with Long Buckby Infant School to ensure a smooth transition.

We have adopted the Pre-school Learning Alliance Constitution and work within the guidelines of the Early Years Foundation Stage.

We firmly believe that learning is a shared experience and communication between preschool and home is vital. We continue the excellent work you have started and work in partnership with parents / carers to make sure each individual child’s needs are being met.
